Cathy Brindos is
a 38 year old mother of 1 child. She was born and raised in Reno,
Nevada. In 2003 just days before Cathy was to graduate with an
associate's degree, she was diagnosed with a rare and deadly
disease, Pulmonary Hypertension.
Cathy is on an intravenous medication 24 hours a day and many other
medications. She needs a life saving double lung transplant.
Until then, Cathy is fighting the battle of being well enough to get
through the surgery at the University Of California San Francisco
Medical Center and sick enough to need the surgery.
Cathy's insurance does not cover such a tremendous burden of costs
for post transplant expenses and medications. She will need to
immediately raise at lease $50,000.
